PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

The Food Production Coordinator is responsible for products coming in and going out and making sure that everything meets certain standards.

Job Responsibilities:
-Prepare hot and cold food working with a basic standardized recipe.

-Assist in purchasing, receiving and inventory control including the daily use of production worksheets and meal counts.

-Work closely with the Food Service Manager and dietitian to ensure necessary production, recipe development, sanitation and timely service of all meals.

-Responsible for ensuring daily production and sanitation tasks are appropriately assigned and completed.

-Actively communicate with internal and external customers.

-Make production decisions.

-Assist with special events as needed.

Qualifications:

Prior Supervisory/ Leadership experience in the Food Service Industry.

SerSafe certification required.

Prior cooking experience preferred.

Knowledge of dietary management principles.

Flexible schedule depending on department needs.

Able to work with children.

Able to read, write and understand English.

Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Must possess a High School diploma/GED or 3-5 years in the food industry.

 

The hourly rate for this position is $19.25.
