WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DOMust Ensure positive and creative environment for the Production department and VenueAttention to hospitality needs of venue and artistsHave a detailed understanding of deal structure and the settlement processMaintain department manuals and training materials for all production positionsTrain /Assist and support production department personnel with job functions as neededResponsible for adhering to the budget and tracking the financial aspects of departmentCreate and maintain inventory and maintenance logEnsure all procedures are cost effectiveWork with the Production Manager scheduling appropriate number of staff while maintaining labor costs within the assigned budgetary guidelinesMaintain regular communications with Production Manager and the GMFacilitate proper interdepartmental communication and organization Help to manage stage, sound, and lighting crewsCoordinate operational feedback with Talent BuyerAdvance technical and Hospitality details for shows/events along with the Production Manager as neededOversee maintenance of audio, lighting, backline, video systems advising on repairs when neededResponsible for enforcing safe and consistent operation of all equipmentMaintain a detailed and thorough filing system of all “past show” files on the shared drive Maintain accurate vendor records, following Purchase Ordering SystemsAdditional responsibilities as assigned by the Production ManagerWHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRINGRequired:Calm / Professional and customer service oriented Prior production experience in an entertainment venueTour and Stage Production experience Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to make clear concise decisions, sometimes with limited informationComputer literate in Windows applications (Excel and Word a must)Must possess superior interpersonal communication and organizational skillsPreferred:College DegreeUnderstanding of stage lighting, pro audio systems and video systemsPhysical Demands/Working Environment:Must be able to lift up to 50 lbsModerate to loud level or noise in work environment
