PRODUCTION COORDINATOR
The Production Coordinator reports to the Content Team’s Supervising Producer and supports daily content production across all platforms. This role is a swiss army knife — working closely with the Head of Content, Head of Social, Content Producers, Social Coordinators, and Production Assistant to create and maintain a content operation plan including production workflows and logistics. Coordinator works hand in hand with the sales team to deliver consignment requests and must be flexible at all times based on the pulse of current auctions and upcoming card shows/showcase events.
The role assists with technical duties – in edits, behind the camera, with graphic design projects, and with the logistical details of content creation.
Tasks range from: researching the history of an auction item, booking hotel rooms/rental cars, ordering crew meals, picking up and returning items to the warehouse, filming item b-roll, organizing travel receipts, coordinating appearance release forms at card shows, gathering assets for graphic design and video content projects, and occasionally gathering assets for the Events Team ahead of The National and other events. This role is an introduction to our content team and allows someone the chance to find their path and grow into future positions and opportunities.
Role Responsibilities:
Outlining the Video Edit Schedule and organize all video contentWork with the Sales/Consignment team to ensure all contractual obligations for items are fulfilledCoordinate visual/graphic content that is aligned with our programming scheduleResearch and prepare outlines for shoots as neededAssist in coordinating logistics for studio and field shoots, including call sheets, release forms, production reports, and maintaining production documentsProvide support in department administrative needsManage relationships with freelance crew, editors, and graphic designersAssist in generating weekly production schedulesAssist in filming B-roll for social video content & prepare the studio with equipment, etc.Skills/Requirements:
