Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in Bennettsville, South Carolina to find a qualified and experienced Production Coordinator to join their growing team. The primary responsibility of the Production Coordinator is to provide general support for the daily production and operation duties for various resource groups. The Production Coordinator will monitor production activities, and report directly to the Operations Manager. **Qualifications:** + Experience as a supervisor or lead operator in a manufacturing environment is preferred. + Must be an aggressive self-starter with strong communication and people skills; experience working in a team environment is preferred. + Must be familiar with general manufacturing processes and procedures and work closely with department managers ensuring deadlines are met. + Assist in Lean initiatives and continuous improvement projects. + Computer skills, specifically a working knowledge of Excel and Outlook. + Experience using an ERP/MRP system is a plus. **Skills:** + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Strong supervisory and leadership skills. + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. + Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. + Problem -solving mindset and ability to work on multiple projects. + Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. The pay rate will range between $18 - $22 depending on experience.
