Production Coordinator

A Day in the Life:-Attend meetings to gather and provide information of project kick-offs, pre-production, weekly scheduling and client consultant shop inspection.-Provide samples and testing of master finish and glass samples.-Coordinate performance mock-ups and visual mock-ups.-Document Control of show drawings, fabrication releases, test reports, assembly/installation instructions.-Maintain control of shop work orders and purchase orders.-Produce and monitor skidding and shipping schedules.-Production release processing to optimize material.-Review frame, metal and glass drawings for errors and omissions.-Prepare BOM for scope of work.-Ensure all required materials are procured and available to meet schedule.-Coordinate production with Metals department for any/all parts required for the curtainwall production.-Point of contact for any questions of the curtainwall/glazing scope.-Daily material status to the curtainwall team.-Review Quality Assurance reports and reorders.
What You Bring:-Minimum 2 years experience with Curtain Wall manufacturing.-Completion of a Post Secondary degree/diploma in civil ,mechanical or industrial engineering.-Ability to read Curtain Wall shop/fabrication drawings.-Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.-Strong communication skills.-Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.
