SummaryIGT is seeking a Production Design Specialist to join our team in Lakeland, FL! As a key member of the Production Design Team, the Production Design Specialist is responsible for producing support files for Account Services, creating print-ready files for plating, and providing technical assistance for converting files into the digital prepress process. The role also involves collaborating with Creative Designers to ensure all artwork complies with manufacturing specifications, ensuring high-quality production output.

Responsibilities Utilizes electronic job requests to generate art pages for working papers according to customer specifications. Review all projects to verify that all required information is present to produce the job based on established guidelines and specifications. Collaborate with Sales, Account Services, and Prepress teams to communicate necessary changes or provide recommendations on file preparation. Prepare files for offset point-of-sale materials to be printed on internal digital presses, including any required finishing steps. Create detailed pages for instant ticket working papers, including ticket backs and support layers. Convert Adobe Illustrator files into various formats as needed. Manually edit bitmap files for quality and consistency. Convert PSD/BMP files into optimized GIFs for specific applications.
Qualifications

Education Required (high school, college degree, training, or certifications requirements)
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience Required (years of experience, specific industry or previous job experience requirements)
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in digital printing, graphic design, pre-press/pre-media, or a related industry role. Knowledge of digital prepress operations and associated technologies.
Skills Required (software, technical, industry, equipment, lifting, and physical requirements)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, with a strong emphasis on Adobe Illustrator. Competency in Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow complex processes and procedures related to department operations. Positive attitude, good written, and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Education, Experience or Skills (preferred degree(s), software, experience, equipment, etc)
Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus. Knowledge of page imposition, digital printing methods, print layouts, and related print procedures is preferred. Familiarity with press or printing operations is preferred. At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $17.33 - $40.95. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
