Production Engineer
Job Title: Production Engineer Job Description The Production Engineer is responsible for process ownership and further developing all manufacturing process requirements including batch records, procedures, and training instructions for all current and new product offerings. This position will identify and address opportunities related to improving process, safety, efficiency, product quality, and reducing waste. The Production Engineer will work hands-on in the manufacturing process, collaborating cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Facilities, and Production personnel to achieve desired outcomes. The role requires a strong engineering and manufacturing understanding. analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong project management skills. The position also involves working alongside production personnel and interfacing directly with customers over the long term. Hard Skills + 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering + Bachelors in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (or similar concentration) + Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in chemical/process industry Soft Skills + Analytical and problem-solving skills + Project management skills + Strong leadership and mentoring skills Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Watertown, Connecticut.
