Production Engineer
Job Title: Production Engineer

Onsite position in Berea, KY. Clean room environment with new technology and equipment!

Job Description

This position will be responsible for process improvements in the Assembly area. Responsibilities include project management, leading process improvements, and using both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to find ways to increase efficiencies. The role involves working with automated assembly equipment that includes robotics and PLCs for troubleshooting. The engineer may utilize AutoCAD or SolidWorks to make modifications to existing equipment, tooling, or fixtures. Additionally, the role requires creating and updating documents used by team members and the maintenance crew, as well as utilizing SQL databases for reviewing data collected on processes. The engineer will help implement a preventive maintenance schedule for use by Maintenance staff.

This is a fully on-site position in Berea, Kentucky.

Work Environment

Environment is clean-room and requires smocks and ESD shoes. Large organization, so the ability to work cross-functionally with a variety of other groups is required (i.e., Quality, Production, Machine Build, Design Engineering, etc.). The role will be a mix of on-floor and desk work depending on projects.
