As a Production Engineer you will be directly responsible in the development of a weekly production schedule with the Planning team working within an Operational Area. The production schedule is managed to ensure completion on time and in full while minimizing downtime and losses.

Key Responsibilities
You will be the site expert for plant technical issues by using gained formulations knowledge to provide analytical skills needed to troubleshoot, process, or equipment failures occurring within the plant.
Develop equipment and coatings processing knowledge to become the subject matter expert for the review and preparation of the weekly production schedule. Converts the business plan into a daily operations plan.
Set the operations plan and production targets
Drive technical improvements for processes through collaboration with on-site teams to manage critical process performance in the plant, including interaction with operations, maintenance and quality control.
Lead root cause failure analysis and problem-solving sessions.
Identify constrains and possible paths to alleviate constraints
Monitor and report on process performance, product cost, and operational logistics.
Challenges schedule breaks, ensures product wheel and works with the operations maintenance gatekeeper to ensure maintenance outage periods are optimized and frozen.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical field required.
Minimum of 2 years of proven experience including data analysis & presentation in a manufacturing or chemical environment.
Solid understanding of process improvements, process design and optimization, and quality assurance processes and procedures.
Strength in creative problem solving to meet business objectives.
Demonstrated ability to successful coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
