Production Engineer

Job Description

This position will be responsible for process improvements in SMT area for ECU (electronic control unit). Will include project management, leading process improvements with specific ties to processes that would include - Laser etch, solder paste printing, inspection, pick/place, reflow, final optical inspection . Will use both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to find ways to increase efficiencies. Will work with automated assembly equipment. May utilize AutoCAD or SolidWorks to make modifications to existing equipment, tooling, or fixtures. Will create and update documents used by team members and maintenance crew. May utilize SQL databases for reviewing data collected on processes. Will help implement preventive maintenance schedule for use by Maintenance staff.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

BS Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or other related degreeLean ManufacturingSolidWorks or AutoCAD

Preferred:

Knowledge of PLC ladder logicProgramming capability (PLC/GLC, C++, Visual Basic, etc.)Experience with Surface Mount TechnologySQL experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $36.00
