Salary: $100,000 - $127,000 plus an additional bonus
Schedule: 9/80 schedule available

Focus: Provide process technical expertise for day-to-day plant operations, ensure that the plant is operated within applicable standards, and focus on process improvements.  

Production Engineer Essential Job Functions:

Responsible for process stewardship over assigned areas including technical documentation, operating procedures, KPIs, process training, safe operating limits and EHS compliance Provides trouble-shooting and technical support to operations and maintenance supervisors to ensure plant operating objectives are achieved, including shutdowns.  Facilitates process and product quality improvement initiatives, including use of Statistical Process Control techniques and detailed process studies. Provides process and design support for projects as assigned Provides process support for engineering, design, construction and commissioning of systems and equipment start-ups Relieves operations supervisors as necessary and mentors junior level engineers

Production Engineer Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree* in Engineering; Chemical Engineering discipline preferred. 3+ years of experience in a Process/Production Engineering role. Experience in the chemical, oil, or gas industry preferred. Demonstrated use of project management software. Demonstrated troubleshooting and operations support skills. Preferred experience includes Distributed Control System and Process Controls knowledge; data management systems (Pi); SPC charting.
