About the team
As part of the Flexible Pipe Systems offshore team based in Newcastle UK you will be joining an established business and team with expertise in pipe design, manufacturing, and installation. This unique combination allows our customers to increase production and asset integrity whilst reducing the overall costs associated with a pipeline system.
Partner with the best
As a Production Engineer you will be responsible for Engineering associated with the manufacturing processes. You will discuss consequences of changes in products and processes within your own team and to other internal functions. You will develop improvement plans and implement those improvements inclusive of changes to process, equipment and procedures.
As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Collaborating with the work centre team, analyzing manufacturing data to identify process improvement areas, quantify the benefits of the changes and prioritizing projects / improvements within a designated area.
Sharing best practices, information and improvements with the wider Production Engineering and site teams.
Leading investigations into production issues and non-conformances to identify and correct root causes and Increase area process performance in line with improvement plan.
Verify design improvement or process improvements that can reduce unplanned downtime or reduce process cycle times.
Working on small design projects.
Generation of setup sheets, action lists and liaising with shop floor teams.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a high school diploma or equivalent, technical or vocational training in manufacturing or related field preferred.
Have proven years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the subsea industry or related field.
Have knowledge of production equipment and processes, particularly in the manufacturing of subsea flexible pipes.
Have strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
Have good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Have a willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment.
