We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Engineer to join our team in the Bronx, NYC. This role will provide technical expertise and solutions to support quality and operations at our manufacturing and packaging site. The Production Engineer will explore innovative and alternate solutions to meet business needs while providing excellent customer service. MUST HAVES + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Engineering Management preferred. + 7+ years of direct Engineering experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. + Ability to read and understand drawings, flowcharts, and schematics related to system design documentation. Key Responsibilities: + Provide technical expertise and solutions to support quality and operations. + Work closely with the Engineering, Validation, Quality, and Operations teams. + Interact daily with plant managers, supervisors, maintenance, safety, and scheduling teams. + Implement changes and investigate/resolve problems impacting plant safety, quality, and efficiency. Experience Required: + Established understanding of engineering theoretical fundamentals of equipment operation. + Demonstrated understanding of Lean and Six Sigma processes, including experience with different continuous improvement techniques. + Ability to make sound economic analyses with prudent financial judgment. + Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment. + Experience with quality systems in a current GMP-regulated environment is strongly preferred. + Hands-on knowledge of production operations and associated control systems is preferred.
