Your Role:

 

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join the company as a Production Engineer! You’ll ensure a consistent and stable operation of existing facilities at the Hometown, PA site. The Production Engineer is responsible for process surveillance, resolution of daily production issues, driving debottlenecking opportunities and implementation of improvement initiatives. The position interfaces with Plant Operators, Process/Project Engineers, Maintenance Technicians, and management personnel to coordinate technical activities in operating areas. Duties also include involvement in hazard reviews, incident investigations, waste minimization, productivity improvements, product quality, SPC and operator training.

 

As a member of this team, you will be a foundational member of driving the production of electronic materials that influence our daily lives and help advance digital living for all humankind. Additionally, you will advise senior management of production planning and engineering strategies that achieve goals/objectives of the franchise.

 

Design, develop and sustain of high purity chemical systems.Utilize lean six sigma and continuous improvement tools.Review raw material analysis and provide data-based decisions on planning.Lead/participate in OPHR (operational process hazard reviews)

 

Who You Are:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

2+ years of experience in chemical processing techniques, safe work policies and procedures and quality practices.Knowledge of process chemistry, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and hydraulics.Personal computer skills and experience with distributive control systems (DCS) and process logic controllers (PLC)Ability to lead small teams related to production or infrastructure changes.A curious individual with a talent to continuously improve.
