We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Process Optimization Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing production efficiency by analyzing process flows, downtime, scrap reports, and capacity studies. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, implement new technologies, and enhance existing processes. Responsibilities
+ Support in all aspects of daily production operations.
+ Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance activities and repairs of all types.
+ Provide production support, machine downtime solutions, and machine efficiency improvements.
+ Rebuild component parts of all types and support all production-related activities as needed.
+ Work closely with production members to complete job assignments in a timely manner.
+ Support production with planned and unplanned work activities as assigned.
+ Conduct machine breakdown repairs, including hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatics, electrical, ladder logic, and numerical controls.
+ Collaborate with Team Leaders to improve production downtime and efficiency.
+ Participate in shift meetings and other meetings as assigned.
+ Engage in all required training activities to master job duties.
+ Perform robot recovery and support robot training activities when requested.
+ Support new model activities as assigned.
+ Communicate effectively during shift pass down, including updates on production equipment performance and machine breakdown follow-ups.
+ Complete equipment preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.
+ Support environmental improvement activities.
+ Perform all other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in manufacturing engineering and process improvement.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and PLC issues.
+ Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
+ Familiarity with CATIA, die casting, robotics, and Fanuc robots.
+ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Associate degree in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
+ 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing.
+ Project management skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $31.25/hr.
