Take on a variety of control room tasks including cuing on-air talent/camera resources, coding, routing live sources, operating robotic cameras, adjusting set lighting, managing the audio board, playing video assets, taking on-screen graphics, assisting with set design/coordination

Work with producer to build video playlists for 24/7 streaming channel

Continuously work to find ways to improve our on-air product and work with other members of the team and newsroom managers to make CityNews Toronto the best local news channel in the country

What you will bring…

Television control room leadership experience

Technical knowledge of broadcast software (for example: iNews, Inception, Grass Valley, OBS, Bannister Lake, Open Media, ENPS, etc.)

A background in supporting large teams in high-pressure situations
