Job Responsibilities

Supervise and lead a team of 3 to 5 machine operators, general laborers and temporary workers Assigned work orders Monitor the quality of work produced Validate the orders have been pulled and shipped Pulling metal with forklift and staging for production Load material table with metal for entry into punch or brake press Change die set or brake press blades for different jobs Maintain and fill oil lubrication points on machines Layout and plan step-by-step bending procedures for a variety of brake press shapes Coaching and mentoring the production crew to ensure safe and professional work culture and environment

Job Qualifications:

Minimum 5+ years recent and relevant experience in Metal Production Operations including overseeing production team Press and brake machine set up and die change Leading a production team of 3 to 5 machine operators, laborers and temporary staff Motivating and self starting leader with excellent oral and written communication skills Math, time management and organizational skills Mechanical aptitude Ability to problem solve Able to multi-task Attention to detail Ability to safety and efficiently operate sit down forklift BIG PLUS Welding experience!
