Our client, a leader in the coatings industry, is seeking a Production Helper to join their team. As a Production Helper, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Production Helper
**Location:** Salem, OR
**Pay Range:** $18-$21/hr
**What's the Job?**
+ Execute assigned production tasks in accordance with procedures to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.
+ Operate and maintain production equipment safely, adhering to established guidelines and industry best practices.
+ Perform daily maintenance and data collection tasks as per procedures and control systems.
+ Report safety and quality issues to the Team Leader or Shift Supervisor promptly.
+ Participate in Continuous Improvement activities and contribute to team meetings.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
+ Ability to operate a forklift and pass certification.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
+ Physical ability to lift and handle containers weighing up to 75 lbs.
