Job Overview:
The Linde Gas United States (LGUS), Hydrogen (HyCO) division of Linde, Inc. is currently seeking an Intern - Production Technician at the Whiting, IN hydrogen / CO2 production facility.
The intern will be trained and developed towork side-by-side with the plant's current Production Technicians.You will aid in operating the equipment associated with multiple Hydrogen reformers, a CO2 removal / liquefaction plant, and various distribution systems.
Responsibilities:
Duties will include:
Adjustments to process variablesStartup and shutdown of process equipmentPreparing equipment for maintenance work including lock-out tag-outCorrectly and safely permitting maintenance workConducting quality checks for merchant productsMonitoring equipment performance.Must know when to call qualified operators when completing assigned duties.
Working extended hours and/or weekends, holidays and call-ins may be available.

High School Diploma or GED Required.Enrolled in college, working towards at least an Associates degree in Process Technology or other related field is preferred Plant Operations experience a plus.About Linde:
