This position reports to

Production Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Participates in the sequence definition, cycle time calculation and analysis of the working phases of new production processes/products. Shares cycle time data with internal teams.Prepares technical documentation regarding the process phases and the related methods of cycle times.Supports production during start-ups by training indirect and direct staff.Ensures that updated process and technical documentation are provided to Supply Chain Management (SCM) teams to support supplier evaluations and proper supplier agreements.Participates in the definition of action plans, training of relevant maintenance and production teams and other support activities during the internal/external process and equipment start-up.Supports Shop Operations/Process Engineer/Maintenance support.

Qualifications for the role

Associates degree preferred.Efficient in Auto Cad and/or design software.5+ years of experience in a medium to large manufacturing plant preferred.Prefer Electrical certification.Computer skills in Excel; Word; PowerpointGood communication skills.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
