**Job Title: Production Labor 18.30HRLY**
Standard DT, BG, ITAR Compliance + Steel-Toed Boots
**Job Description**
Routinely uses molds and presses in the production process to produce first part and regular production parts in a timely manner with minimal to no supervision. This position will routinely work on manufacturing assignments per written procedures where the ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. This position requires an ability to get along well with co-workers within a team environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operates press machine to create parts with use of mold
+ Cleans and primes parts with appropriate chemicals and solutions
+ Measures stock to ensure that it is the correct thickness and length
+ Places by hand a variety of materials in mold, on the mandrel or in the build fixture
+ Weighs stock and scrap to be salvaged
+ Monitors individual production for bad parts for early defect detection
+ Uses production equipment and tools, such as calipers and scales, on a regular basis
+ Ensures that materials handling recordkeeping is completed according to company and ISO standards
+ Follows internal safety policies and procedures at all times
+ Maintains work area free of safety hazards and clutter, including area setup and cleanup at the start and end of the shift
+ Performs other duties as assigned by the Working or Production Lead, Planner, Production Supervisor, and/or Module Manager
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
+ Read a tape measure
+ Use hand tools to fabricate parts
+ Attention to detail
+ Experience with general labor and assembly
+ Proficient in the use of power tools and production equipment
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Combination of relevant education and experience can be considered in lieu of exact education
+ Skilled in the use of hand tools including calipers, depth gages, micrometers, and other measuring equipment, and machinery

**Work Environment**
Working in a manufacturing environment with variable environmental conditions within the plant, such as temperature instability and atmospheric conditions including fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or vapors. Exposure to solvents and other industrial chemicals is expected.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of McMinnville, Oregon.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.30 - $18.30
