**Job Title: Production Laborer**
**Job Description**
Laborers will be working in a railyard for an aggregate company. Laborers will be responsible for unloading up to 30 railcars a day. They will be opening the railcar doors with crowbars or other hand tools, ensuring that all material is released from the railcar and into the funnel to the conveyor belt. Additional responsibilities include manual labor and general clean-up of the facility, using shovels, and performing preventative maintenance on railcars, including greasing bearings.
**Responsibilities**
+ Unload up to 30 railcars a day.
+ Open railcar doors with crowbars or other hand tools.
+ Ensure all material is released from railcars into the funnel to the conveyor belt.
+ Perform manual labor and general clean-up of the facility.
+ Use shovels for various tasks.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on railcars, including greasing bearings.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with heavy lifting.
+ Proficiency with hand tools.
+ Experience in construction, general labor, or production.
+ 1+ years of experience working outdoors.
+ Ability to lift 50 pounds.
+ Experience performing physical or manual labor, particularly in concrete, landscaping, railroad, railcar, or heavy equipment operation.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Railyard experience.
+ Mechanically inclined.
+ Experience with equipment operation.
+ Experience unloading railcars.

**Work Environment**

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, Florida.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.69 - $17.69/hr.
