Position Summary

The overall purpose of this position is to assist in the daily functions of the Production Department.  Essential duties include assisting in the supervision of Production personnel and maintaining daily operations to meet Safety, Quality and Productivity goals.

 

Responsibilities

Key Task & Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining daily operations in Production: Labeling area, Filling lines, Bulk load area, Tote/ Drum Washing and Blending.Verify fill line set ups between each run and ensure the proper paperwork is being completed and filed. Assist in execution of daily production schedule.Conduct daily inspections for safety, housekeeping and quality standards. Perform duties when necessary to cover vacations, illnesses or other absences.Research and make recommendations on projects.Attend initial and annual training as stipulated by federal, state and local regulatory agencies as applicable for position held within the company.Meet all Moove Lubricants safety requirements and all necessary safety training, wear all applicable PPE equipment for their job function and ensure other employees are following same.Receive in tanker load and Railcar inventory as they are unloaded.Responsible for leading the tote and drum wash area. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned or requested by supervisor or management. Qualifications

Education & Experiences

High School diploma or GEDMinimum of 2 years’ Lead or Supervisory experience in a production role. Forklift experience with certificationGeneral Mathematic skills

Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong computer skills with ability to use full Microsoft Office programs and ERP systems. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions in the English language.Must have thorough understanding of production operations, warehouse operations and be detail oriented.Must possess good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with personnel and business contacts.Must have a good mechanical background as well as ability to operate material handling equipment, including forklifts.Team player- proven ability to collaborate and work well with others.Strong sense of integrity.

Physical/Mental Requirements

Very Heavy work: exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Typing, Grasping, Feeling, Talking, Hearing, Repetitive Motions

Work Environment

This worker will be subject to indoor and outdoor environmental conditions; extreme cold, extreme heat and noise.
