**Job Title: Production Lead** **Job Description** Lead the production team on the line, cross-trained on all production equipment/lines. Perform various tasks, including operating, setup/changeover, minor mechanical adjustments, and sanitizing of the production equipment. Complete Redzone quality checks and downtime accurately, as well as production paperwork. **Responsibilities** + Lead team operating the applicable production line + Champion safety and quality guidelines + Prepare production equipment for runs including proper safety checks and documentation + Operate all production equipment + Conduct efficient product changeovers + Maintain production areas in a proper state of cleanliness and follow all SOPs; follow GMPs and keep the company in compliance with certifications (Organic, Kosher, HACCP, SQF, etc.) + Perform Redzone production counts, quality checks, and downtime recording + Maintain 5S in the production department + Properly handle blends and materials + Report on defective ingredients or machinery + Monitor production records in progress for weights, and compliance with specifications + Support and assist with other production area tasks as needed and assigned **Essential Skills** + Proven communication, teamwork, and leadership skills + Strong ability and willingness to problem-solve + Curiosity and strong interest in gaining new skills/learning new things + Previous manufacturing experience required; previous food manufacturing experience strongly preferred + Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, and PPE requirements + Basic reading and math skills + Basic computer skills + Attention to detail + Ability to lift 55 lbs **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required + Knowledge of manual and power jack and forklift operation (training will be provided, as necessary) + Redzone experience a plus, but not required **Why Work Here?** Our company is growing quickly and offers a great opportunity for advancement. The production operator role operates from 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday.
