**Job Title: Production Lead**
**Job Description**
The Production Lead is responsible for supervising employees, evaluating their performance, and maintaining a safe manufacturing environment. In this position, the Lead will train employees on job responsibilities, track and manage attendance records, review employees’ weekly hours and submit to HR, be the first point of contact for any employee concerns or issues, work with HR when necessary to counsel employees, and maintain a positive work environment. The Lead will also ensure all employees comprehend safety regulations according to OSHA regulations and assist the 2nd Shift Supervisor with managing employees as directed.
**Responsibilities**
+ Supervise and evaluate employee performance.
+ Train employees on job responsibilities.
+ Track and manage attendance records.
+ Review and submit employees’ weekly hours to HR.
+ Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns or issues.
+ Work with HR to counsel employees when necessary.
+ Maintain a positive work environment.
+ Ensure all employees understand and comply with OSHA safety regulations.
+ Assist the 2nd Shift Supervisor with managing employees as directed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
+ Experience working in an ISO certified facility.
+ Proven leadership skills.
+ Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Employee coaching to develop new team.
+ Experience with assembly and assembly line operations.
+ Ability to track absenteeism and timekeeping.
+ Familiarity with business operations and KPIs to measure production.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Elgin, Illinois.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $43680.00/yr.
Full benefits package, 4 day work week, 10 hour shifts.

benefits will be provided to you on your first day of employment with Encore.
