Production Lead
**Job Title: Production Lead** **Job Description** Delegate and oversee appropriate workflow to line operations from potato room through packaging and production personnel, driving plant KPI’s on a shift-by-shift basis. Assist Production Supervisor in implementing safety measures and plant-defined KPIs as shown through monthly scorecards. Collaborate with technicians and associates to complete daily production goals. Communicate all production-related concerns to the Production Supervisor in a timely manner. Lead and assist areas to be ‘audit ready’ by ensuring acceptable levels of cleanliness, organization, food safety, and environmental safety. Train team members on relevant industry processes, equipment operations safety, GMPs, and other food safety processes. Responsible for reporting any potential food safety issues. **Responsibilities** + Delegate and oversee workflow from potato room through packaging and production personnel. + Drive plant KPI’s on a shift-by-shift basis. + Assist Production Supervisor in implementing safety measures and plant-defined KPIs. + Collaborate with technicians and associates to complete daily production goals. + Communicate production-related concerns to the Production Supervisor. + Ensure areas are ‘audit ready’ by maintaining cleanliness, organization, food safety, and environmental safety. + Train team members on industry processes, equipment operations safety, GMPs, and other food safety processes. + Report any potential food safety issues. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of Production Experience + 2+ years of working in a fast-paced production environment + 6+ months of Lead experience + Machine operation + Leadership + Supervision + High school diploma or GED **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. + Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. + Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. + Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. + Ability to stand and stand more than 2/3 of the time. + Ability to use hands more than 2/3 of the time. + Ability to stoop, kneel, reach, crouch, or crawl, climb, or balance throughout the day. + Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds. + Ability to distinguish colors. **Why Work Here?** Good people, good culture. GMP Environment requiring PPE (Hair net, beard net, smock, hard hat, non-slip steel toes). Work in an office environment (home or corporate location) 1/3 of the time, 2/3 on the manufacturing floor. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet or humid conditions (non-weather), high and/or precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Muskego, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
