Production Lead Supervisor Salary Rate: From $70,000 a yearLocation: Chicago, IL 60632Shift: Monday-Friday 1st 4:30am to 2:30pm We are seeking a Production Lead Supervisor in a meat processing plant that is responsible for the end to end production process for specific production lines. Responsibilities:Direct Supervision of 30-50 hourly employeesEnsures line set ups are ready for production (X-Ray systems, date coders, case coders, etc.)Direct and coach production operators in the execution of daily/weekly production schedules for multiple lines.Coordinate production ensuring safety, quality and productivity while minimizing waste.Follow all federal, state and local HACCP, OSHA & GMP guidelinesList Qualification or Requirements:2+ years of leadership experienceManufacturing experience preferredExperience with coaching, mentoring, leading, developing, training and disciplining employees as neededWilling to work early and late hours, up to 12 hours shifts and SaturdaysAbility to communicate in Spanish is a plus. Essential CapabilitiesThe employee must regularly lift and /or move up to up to 50 pounds.
