Position Specific Description

The Distribution Operations Department is looking for a Production Lead to join their team in the Treasure Coast management area.  Employees in this role will oversee the safety, productivity and efficiency of bargaining unit employees performing distribution work including overhead, underground, and restoration.

Job Overview

This position is responsible for leading employees and overseeing all of the Company’s distribution projects and daily restoration activities. Employees in this role coordinate schedules, engineering, site preparation, equipment, and crew activity for Power Delivery projects. Individuals manage workload and guides decision making on utilizing company assets.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
•   Ensures appropriate equipment and materials are available for crews to perform work
•   Communicates construction activity with engineers/designers and customers to ensure timely delivery of service
•   Ensures contractor activities and safety practices are in compliance with parameters outlined in purchase order and bid packages
•   Balances workload to ensure a cost competitive organization
•   Motivates and develops employees to ensure a safe, effective and productive workforce
•   Promotes and is responsible for the safety and adherence to OSHA and company safety requirements
•   Applies the Memorandum of Agreement in an equitable and consistent manner
•   Understands and assists with mobile technology
•   Available for storm travel to assist with restoration of service efforts within and outside of the company service territory
•   Performs other job-related duties as assignedRequired Qualifications
•  High School Grad / GED
•  Microsoft Office Suite
•  Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
•  Experience:3+ yearsPreferred Qualifications
•  Journeyman Lineman Qual
•  Master's Degree
