Job Description
The Production Operator I is responsible for performing a variety of production tasks related to the assembly and testing of electro-mechanical medical devices. All tasks are completed in accordance with the client's Quality System, Standard Operation Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions (WI), Engineering Prints, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
ResponsibilitiesAssemble and test products to meet customer demand and verify design specification requirements.Generate Quality System Records on applicable documentation and perform timely transactions online utilizing ERP/MRP systems.Participate in continuous improvement by assisting personnel with process, documentation, and material improvements.Perform other duties or projects as required.Essential Skills3 - 5 years of electro/mechanical medical operations experience or an advanced degree in operations..Proficiency in the use of mechanical assembly tools.Advanced level of computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and MRP Systems and databases.Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP’s), ISO regulations, and Quality Systems as it pertains to hardware manufacturing at Medical Device Manufacturers.Demonstrated ability to follow manufacturing processes including problem-solving.Ability to maintain accurate documentation (e.g., record traceability information onto routers, and transact materials online).Ability to lift up to 45lbs English
