**What does it mean to be a Prysmian Production Line Operator?**
+ Monitor plastic extrusion or stranding lines while running to ensure quality/timely production of cables
+ Perform machine startups, changeovers and operator preventative maintenance as required
+ Perform required measurement checks to ensure cables are manufactured to quality specifications
+ Proactively report any production shortfalls, quality nonconformances, and equipment issues swiftly
+ Follows all safety, personal protective equipment, and regulatory requirements
**Required Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent experience
+ 12 months Manufacturing, Service or Warehouse experience
+ Ability to pass the SkillsTest with favorable results
+ Must be able to successfully complete the background check and pre-employment drug testing
+ Ability to visually distinguish 12 basic colors
+ Ability to stoop, bend at the waist, stand, and sit as needed to reach product while working up to 12 hours per shift
+ Loading and unloading of materials as needed with the ability to lift 50 lbs.
+ Manual rolling of reels between 200 and 800 lbs. for short distances with or without reasonable accommodation
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Demonstrate proficiency of simple calculations and use of all required measurement tools (Calipers, Measuring Tape, Thickness Gages)
+ Ability to have full range of motion in shoulders, arms, hands, and fingers for manipulation of product and work equipment
