We are looking for a Production Maintenance Engineer to be part of our electrode team! This individual will develop an executable plan and measure success to ensure residual life and operational efficiency. This professional will have the opportunity to be the focal point for the maintenance and operations strategy to ensure equipment health and reliability. The role will encompass the successful reliability excellence (ReX) implementation and coordination of all maintenance activities to support operations. In this role, you provide single point responsibility for coordinating and communicating all maintenance activities scheduled through the ReX process, drive an increase in equipment reliability and lead contractor project work.
About the Role:
Collaborate with the Reliability Excellence, maintenance, and operational teams
Lead contracted project work; scope, planning, timelines, safe work plan
Functional responsibility for coordinating all maintenance and operational activities and ensure alignment between all stakeholders.
Support/Lead the department teams to ensure adherence to the total planning process applying standardized work processes
Develops safe work pre-Plans for maintenance. work (e.g., isolation, functional testing, welding, grinding etc)
Reviews all maintenance work requests daily and ensures maintenance work request quality & priority
Works with Planners to provide input to work scope, schedules, and priorities
Ensures resourcing and execution of Operation Maintenance tasks necessary to support maintenance plans
Supervises progress of production activities vital to support planned work and intervenes as required
Attends all planning meetings providing input to work scope, priority, and schedule development.
Participates in problem solving issues with work management and execution
Provide support and coaching to the Shift Supervisors and production teams in the importance of disciplined execution of all planned work
Develop and provide support for operator care of key process equipment and train operators, shift supervisors on the proper use and care of equipment
Leads reliability functions to ensure optimal equipment health and decreasing operational unplanned downtimes.
Supports process engineers with OEE improvement initiatives, specifically in the availability of the equipment.

Bachelor’s degree preferred- Engineering, Operations, or related industrial specialty.
Min 3 years’ work experience preferably within an operations/maintenance function in an industrial process environment
Experience in developing maintenance and operations plans to support business goals
General understanding of operational and maintenance key performance indicators
Exposure to risk management and process safety concepts
Ability to communicate, influence and work collaboratively with key peers, stakeholders + customers
High energy, detail minded, ability to work in systematic, structured, and efficient manner
Highly developed computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio
Understanding of computerized maintenance management software and/or integrity management software / databases

Base salary: $70,000 - $105,000 USD annuallyTotal rewards packages listed, including base salary and bonus eligibility, applies to US based applicants only. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on a range of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies in conjunction with multiple components of the Employee Total Rewards Package.
