Volt is immediately hiring a Production Maintenance Technician III in Waukesha, WI!

As a Production Maintenance Technician III - you will be.
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
In this role you will be responsible for responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing preventive and corrective maintenance in an industrial manufacturing environment on all production related industrial systems including, but not limited to pumps, motors, PLC and CNC machinery, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and coolant systems. Effective communication with your team and the customer is critical to understand and solve complex electrical and mechanical problems. The Production Maintenance Technician identifies and corrects any safety-related issues and performs independent equipment evaluations to identify potential equipment failures.
\r\n\r\nResponsibilities:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\tFollows safety protocols and maintains a safe work environment.\r\n\tMaintains and troubleshoots production equipment.\r\n\tPerforms quality control checks on products.\r\n\tReads and interprets blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.\r\n\tPerforms preventive maintenance on production equipment.\r\n\tOperates various production machines and tools.\r\n\tMaintains accurate records of production processes and results.\r\n\r\n\r\nMinimum Requirements:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\tHigh School diploma or demonstrated equivalent.\r\n\tThree to five years of experience performing electrical and mechanical maintenance on industrial manufacturing process / production equipment or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.\r\n\tAbility to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher.\r\n\tMust have the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot industrial equipment such as pumps, bearings, blowers, fans, gearboxes, air handlers, and other equipment as required.\r\n\r\n\r\nPreferred Qualifications:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\tFive years of experience performing maintenance on industrial manufacturing production equipment or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.\r\n\r\n\r\nPhysical Requirements:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\tRequires the ability to regularly lift to 50 lbs., the ability to regularly climb ladders and stairs, flexibility to bend/stoop, squat, kneel, stretch, reach and move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift.\r\n\tRequires the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift.\r\n\r\n\r\nThis is a Contract (Temp to Perm) opportunity.
\r\n\r\nSchedule: 2nd Shift - Monday – Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m
\r\n\r\nLocation: Waukesha, WI
\r\n\r\nDuration: 12 Months
\r\n\r\nPay Range: $27 to $30 per hour.
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
