Production Manager, Danfoss Redan
Job Description

Do you have the ambition and potential to step into the role of Production Manager at Danfoss Redan A/S in Silkeborg?

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Manager to take on this key role, combining strategic overview with hands-on involvement across our operations. 

You will work closely with various departments such as Sales, Engineering, Finance, and R&D, driving collaboration and ensuring operational excellence. 

This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute directly to our ongoing growth and success. You will also lead the transition to automated and digitized manufacturing on the shop floor.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will oversee operations, including purchasing, planning, production, and quality. Strong teamwork and leadership are key, as well as experience in supply chain management and effective communication.

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

People Management: Build and lead strong teams to meet performance targets and foster employee engagement through regular communication and collaboration. Delivery Performance: Ensure on-time delivery by working with Planning and stakeholders, aligning production with customer expectations. Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to improve productivity, equipment efficiency, and automation, contributing to ongoing factory performance. Cost Management: Lead efforts to improve operational costs and ensure targets are met, addressing cost variances when necessary. Quality Management: Strengthen quality systems and drive a zero-defect culture, ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and IATF16949 standards. Background & Skills

We are looking for a candidate with solid manufacturing and operations management experience. You should have a hands-on approach and the ability to drive long-term improvements in a dynamic environment.

Key qualifications include:

Successful leadership experience in managing teams in manufacturing or similar industries. Deep understanding of supply chain management. Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO9001, IATF16949). Experience with automation and digitalization. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
