ResponsibilitiesEnsure production runs at optimal output and enforce all standards for productivity, quality, food safety, and personal safety.Communicate regularly with the Plant Manager for continuous improvement and make recommendations to increase productivity and efficiency.Allocate employees for task completion and provide them with daily goals, constructive criticism, and positive reinforcement.Assist with new and existing employee training programs and provide feedback to employees and management.Complete yearly employee evaluations and disciplinary actions along with upper management.Handle employee confrontation in a professional manner and assist with conflict resolution.Work alongside production employees to help fulfill orders and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.Oversee end-of-day production record keeping and verification.Ensure end-of-day cleaning and sanitation and that the production team is out in a timely manner.Communicate regularly with Customer Service for daily production planning and order fulfillment.Coordinate and communicate with farm technicians on tray adjustments based on yields, timing, quality, and order fulfillment requirements.Track orders and report inventory, assisting customer service to ensure orders are fulfilled and staged appropriately for drivers.Work overtime hours as needed, including occasional weekend coverage (half day Saturday).Be a member of the Food Safety Team.Essential Skills5+ years of supervisory experience in a production environment.Excellent supervisory skills and experience in production, safety, and continuous improvement.Experience in shipping and receiving.Strong communication skills, both positive and professional.Knowledge of food safety rules, regulations, and requirements.Additional Skills & Qualifications3-5 years of leadership experience in a food production setting preferred.Proven problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.Why Work Here?

Very Clean and Climate controlled work environment. The position involves working Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with overtime as needed.
