**Job Description**
Lead and support the production team to manufacture products that meet cost, quality, and service requirements. Responsible for employee safety and development, the manufacturing of value-added products, the implementation and auditing of quality and preventive maintenance procedures and achieving productivity and efficiency goals through optimized equipment capacity and enhanced team capabilities.
**Core Responsibilities:**
+ Lead and promote a safety-focused culture through employee awareness and participation. Collaborate with Engineering to integrate safety and ergonomic improvements into machine layout and design. Interpret and enforce safety compliance procedures, hazard elimination, and accident prevention. Serve as a point of contact for regulatory matters and drive continuous improvements in plant safety performance.
+ Monitor and manage key metrics for safety, quality, cost, delivery, scrap, and inventory management. Direct activities that drive continuous improvement in each of these areas.
+ Oversee shift facilitators to ensure the coordination, communication, and achievement of daily/weekly production schedules, ensuring customer needs are met in a timely manner.
+ Ensure consistent application of quality processes at production cells and by shift facilitators. Identify and address process barriers or constraints. Collaborate with Engineering to diagnose root causes of quality issues and drive corrective actions.
+ Apply capacity and scheduling models to manage manufacturing capacity and resolve constraint issues. Ensure balanced shift flows and prioritize equipment issues. Collaborate with Engineering to implement sustainable improvements in equipment performance through proactive maintenance and repair programs.
+ Identify, develop, and mentor talent to maximize individual, team, and organizational effectiveness. Responsibilities include selecting and onboarding talent, fostering engagement, aligning team goals, and providing coaching, feedback, and performance management.
+ Perform other duties as assigned, including tasks associated with the role of a manufacturing engineer.
**Job Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering (preferred), or a related field with at least 3 years of hands-on production experience, including frontline supervision and real-time operations management.
+ Proven experience managing multiple departments (e.g., production, shipping, receiving) within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
+ Demonstrated leadership in safety management within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
+ Experience in coaching and developing both exempt and non-exempt staff.
+ Familiarity with OSHA standards and quality systems.
+ Experience leading empowered work teams.
+ Self-motivated, disciplined, and highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Occasional travel and overnight stays required.

Annual base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $100,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Company considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
