A leading packaging company situated in Gauteng is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Production Manager to join their team.

The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for:

Develop and implement production schedules to ensure that production targets are met.  Oversee the production process to ensure that it is running efficiently. Manage a team of production workers, including hiring, training, and evaluating their performance.  Work with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure that production runs smoothly and that there are no delays or issues.  Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that the end product meets the required standards.  Monitor inventory levels and work with procurement to ensure that there are no shortages of raw materials.  Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.  Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed in the factory.

Key requirements:

B Degree – Engineering (Mechanical) Knowledge of manufacturing processes and machinery will be an advantage. Min of 4 Years’ experience
