Production Manager

Temporary General Manager/Plant Manager

Duration: Approximately 3 months

Shift: 6:30am-3pm (Monday-Friday)

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager/Plant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our aerospace composite build-to-print production and testing facility. This is a temporary position for approximately three months, during which you will manage ongoing operations while we focus on parallel projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage daily operations, ensuring adherence to the existing master schedule.Supervise a team comprising 3 Supervisors, 25 production staff, 2 Manufacturing Engineers, and 1 Planner/Customer Service/Purchasing.Collaborate with strong peers in Engineering, Quality, and Finance Management.Develop and implement daily and weekly schedules for supervisors.Lead customer status calls and past due recovery plan meetings.Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly shipping targets are met.Maintain and update the weekly KPI board.Handle any daily operational challenges and ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in leading a production facility, job shop, machine shop, or similar operation.Strong leadership and take-charge personality.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Ability to quickly adapt and manage existing processes and schedules.Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00
