Production Manager

Qualified candidates will be responsible for managing field office personnel, logistics, equipment and consumable usage, and vehicle assignments and maintenance. Additionally this position is responsible for reviewing and approving time entries that impact job costs and billing, as well as assigned personnel time off requests. As needed you may be called to oversee large losses that require additional management and supervision.

Responsibilities

Communicate professionally with customers, subcontractors, employees and insurance companies Coordinate and manage multiple residential, commercial, industrial and institutional projects of various complexities simultaneously Run larger mitigation jobs as field superintendent as needed. Provide technical explanations to clients, adjusters, consultants and others Meet with estimators and superintendents regularly to ensure accuracy of all work being performed and regular contact with customers is maintained Visit job sites as necessary to ensure quality Schedule daily work orders submitted from the estimators and project managers for restoration, contents and light rebuilds per staff capability. Provide constructive feedback and direction to complete tasks on time and within budget Ensure all work crews are appropriately uniformed Meet with municipal inspectors and secure needed permits as required Implement site-specific safety plans Oversee all moisture mapping for water losses. Coordinate after-hours emergency services as directed, including board-ups, water damage, fire and smoke damage, and vandalism Respond to emergencies including after hour responses as necessary Develop and manage a sustainable contents operational process Ensure warehouse is sufficiently stocked with necessary supplies and equipment Attend BELFOR sponsored operations and safety training courses Qualify subcontractors and complete BELFOR vendor packages Conduct regular two-way assessments of staff performance Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Manage daily logistics and job assignments of field personnel and equipment Implement and monitor on-site safety plans Coordinate daily needs with temp staffing companies Coordinate job starts and schedule appointments with customers and clients Ensure warehouse is appropriately stocked with necessary supplies and equipment Handle customer complaints that pertain to quality of work or performance of employees Schedule and ensure vehicle maintenance is performed Complete accident, injury, & incident reporting forms Set the estimator/production on call schedule Work as a team with local and national operations to promote customer satisfaction, sales growth, and the success of the entire BELFOR organization. Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines Attend BELFOR sponsored operations and safety training courses as required

Qualifications:

Sense of urgency, professional appearance and demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic Minimum 5 years' superintendent experience with restoration, cleaning, and/or applicable construction industries on commercial, industrial, and/or institutional projects, or equivalent Experience with site-specific safety plans Knowledge of DOT requirements Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR's vehicle policy Experience operating vehicles up to 26,000 GVW and operating truck-trailer combinations strongly preferred Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, and Word) Proficient with restoration industry management system (Restoration Manager, DASH, Service Software, LUXOR), or equivalent Willing to work nights and weekends when necessary or requested Ability to travel periodically without restriction Restoration Project Manager $500,000 single project capability $1,000,000+ aggregate project capability Intermediate training and experience with two of the following: Water Damage Fire Damage Contents Damage Advanced training and experience with one of the following: Water Damage Fire Damage Contents Damage Construction Project Manager $750,000 single project capability $1,000,000+ aggregate project capability Extensive knowledge of construction trades Working knowledge of building codes and regulatory agencies Hazardous material identification ability, including asbestos, lead paint, mold and IICRC unsanitary water categories 2, 3, and Special Situations strongly preferred Familiarity of Material Safety Data Sheet (SDS) use preferred Satisfactory completion of OSHA Construction 30 hour course preferred Valid EPA Lead RRP Certified Renovator license preferred Experience in restoration, insurance or construction, preferred Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferred

Physical Demands

Frequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs. Sustained periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling Access and mobility in tight spaces Manual dexterity needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks The ability to bend, crouch, or stand as necessary.
