NEW PLANT

In the context of the construction and launch of a new factory scheduled officially for spring 2026, we are looking for a Production manager. Prior to the official launch, the Production manager will have the opportunity to undergo specific training for a duration of 6 to 12 months, involving travel between the future factory and our sister facility located in Drummondville, Quebec. He will also participate to the planned test startup in the spring of 2026

The Production manager oversees and supports the production teams in various sections of the factory. The role entails ensuring the department’s objectives (quality, safety, productivity, production costs) are met and serving as a reference for the employees. Vigilance, in-depth knowledge of facilities, and strong safety leadership are crucial for this position.

THE CHALLENGES WE HAVE FOR YOU THE CHALLENGES WE HAVE FOR YOU Directly manage employees under supervision, including recruitment, performance monitoring, mentoring, and training oversight. Ensure the achievement of goals related to health, safety, environment, quality, raw material consumption, performance, equipment maintenance, and production volumes. Plan production in manufacturing units to meet customer needs while maintaining optimal inventory. Contribute to the development of best practices within teams, ensure dissemination, and monitor implementation. Define and monitor the operational budget (labor, energy, consumables, etc.). Maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) in each area of responsibility and communicate with the site director regarding team performance (positive and negative). Promote a culture of continuous improvement within teams, participate in setting priorities, and disseminate information. Coordinate with the maintenance team to facilitate interventions and manage personnel during major interventions. Analyze variances and improvement opportunities to define and present action or improvement plans to the plant director. Collaborate with various departments in preparing, planning, executing, and monitoring R&D tests. Collaborate with different departments to support the implementation of industrial projects, whether minor or major. Participate in investment plans and justify requests. Ensure proper line maintenance (cleanliness). Perform any other tasks necessary for the smooth operation of operations. THE SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Your Academic training

Operations Management (GOP) training; Engineering degree or other relevant areas (college or university); Additional training in personnel management.

Your Knowledge

5 years of manufacturing experience; Lean manufacturing knowledge (an asset); French and Spanish (an asset); Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), ERP (AS400 an asset), HR expertise.

WORKING CONDITIONS
