Responsible for leading the Rx production by making sure the working environment is safe, delivering the right quality level to markets, contribute to the service expected by customers and performance (financial variance for the production part) for the company. Scope: Surfacing, HMC-Tinting and Edging-Mounting
Manage/support the daily operations Safety = make sure working environment is safe and compliant with local regulations and corporate rules; improve the working environment with the local EHS team People = ensure a healthy relationship with all employees by communicating/acting at the right level. Ensure an efficient collaboration with other departments Coordination between the 3 workshops by ensuring the production interfaces are smooths: balancing, bottleneck management, manpower, yield allocation … Quality = ensure to deliver the right quality level to markets by respecting the quality standards (validation being a must) and monitoring the quality gates-tests and customer returns Service = ensure the service expected by customers by monitoring/adjusting the capacity vs load and the lead times-laminar flows Cost = monitor/improve yield with a strong focus on productivity, consumables-raw materials, energy Contribute to the midterm Budget Investment plan Staffing plan Improvements plan = quality, service and costMust have
Required skill and qualifications: Master degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Quality Minimum 5 years of experience in Rx manufacturing/engineering at a management position Fluent in English (read, write, speak with ease) Strong leadership Customer focus Drive for results Data driven Able to work under pressure Preferred skill and qualifications: Autonomous in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc.) Lean manufacturing knowledge Experience with multi-national companies Knowledge in Ophthalmic lens products/technologies
