Minimum requirements:
To plan, coordinate and control the soya extraction process. To ensure products are produced efficiently according to international quality specifications and within budget. To maintain a minimum plant efficiency of 85% EDT. To manage and coordinate the production team, set targets and ensure the plant runs smoothly and efficiently, applying a hands-on approach. Apply meticulous attention to detail to all Health and Safety Standards. Drive plant continuous improvement and sustainability-focused on a long-term vision. Drive effective team development and team cohesion in all functions reporting into the structure.

Needs:
Knowledge of SHEQ – Environmental regulations, OHS Act, and Quality
standards.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems and production monitoring Tools.
- Computer literacy – Microsoft Teams and Office.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a production/manufacturing
environment, preferably in soya extraction and refining animal feed
industry or food processing industry.
- Knowledge of raw materials.
- Knowledge of quality systems and standards.
- Knowledge of business improvement techniques.
- Knowledge of business, finance, and management principles.
- Knowledge of machines and tools.
- Knowledge of soybean processing methods (extraction, refining etc).
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, production management or related field.
- Chemical background is an advantage.
