Production Manager Manufacturing/Operations Jacksonville, Florida Apply Description Fluidra’s looking for a Production Manager to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE In this critical role, you will assure that direct reports and their employees follow procedures for OSHA/safety, job training, attendance and quality. Additionally, you will: + Assure that all reporting systems are maintained and contain accurate data. + Coordinate other departments with materials, QC and Production to optimize the use of people, equipment, space and materials + Assure that all orders are pulled and packaged to prevent damage, and in a timely manner according to customer demand along with the Production Schedule. + Plan and direct the workflow and personnel assignments and establish priorities to reach 100%. + Communicate with the team leaders to insure the transfer of information and status related to processes, orders, and any needed machine repairs. + Assures that all direct report Team Leaders comply with SOP’s. + Develop and maintain procedures for training employees. + See that equipment is maintained and is available for its intended purpose. + Assure that all Human Resource matters are handled in accordance with company policy including hiring, firing, safety compliance, training, and attendance. + Design, implement and maintain personal measures for self and direct reports. + Assure that areas, tools, and equipment are secured and clean at the end of the night and lights in those areas are turned off. Participate in the Company Safety Plan which includes being part of the safety committee. + Other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager. WHAT WE SEEK + Proven leadership experience managing front line supervisors and employees. + 2+ years manufacturing experience. + Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles. + Good interactive skills in facilitating team solutions. + Knowledge of Epicor Software is a plus. + Fiberglass or Automotive Paint manufacturing experience. EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
