**Job Title: Production Manager** **Job Description** + The right candidate will have experience in Production and Paint management, including planning and scheduling with the express objective of meeting customer delivery requirements. + On-time delivery (OTD) is the key metric used to measure success in this role. + The ideal candidate is expected to build, train, organize, and lead a team of highly skilled Technicians. + Maintaining production costs (material, labor, and overhead) at or below budget is a secondary top objective. + The Service Manager will report directly to the Branch Manager. **Responsibilities** + Meet or exceed customer OTD requirements. + Maintain production costs at or below budget. + Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflow through effective sequencing of labor, materials, and capacity in cooperation with other departments. + Deploy Lean Manufacturing techniques that improve and simplify operations through continuous improvement initiatives across all facets of Production. 5S will be a significant measure of success for this position. + Oversee and provide input for revisions to or improvements on jobs that enhance delivery commitments, efficiencies, reduce costs, and increase quality. **Essential Skills** + Experience in production management + Supervision + Lean manufacturing + Process improvement + Operations management + Supervisory skills + Production scheduling + Continuous improvement + Manufacturing operations **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proven track record in meeting or exceeding customer OTD requirements + Experience in maintaining production costs at or below budget + Ability to develop and implement strategies for optimizing workflow + Knowledge in deploying Lean Manufacturing techniques + Experience in overseeing job revisions and improvements **Why Work Here?** 401K with a 6% match.
