Job Title: Production Manager

Job Description

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing plant. This includes planning, organizing, directing, and controlling production activities to ensure that products are manufactured efficiently, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

ResponsibilitiesDeveloping production schedules and maintaining an inventory of raw materials and finished products.Monitoring production rates and quality, making adjustments as needed to maintain production schedules and quality standards.Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times.Managing and motivating a team of workers, providing training and development opportunities.Liaising with different departments, teams, and companies, such as suppliers, managers, and clients.Implementing and maintaining quality control programs.Organizing the repair and maintenance of any damaged equipment.Analyzing performance data and making recommendations for improvement.Planning and drawing up production schedules.Deciding on and ordering the resources required and ensuring stock levels remain adequate.Selecting and making decisions about equipment.Monitoring production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.Monitoring productivity rates and product standards and implementing quality control programs.Organizing the repair of any damaged equipment.Ensuring customer orders are completed on time and to budget and that quality standards and targets are met.Working with managers to implement the company’s policies and goals.Collating and analyzing performance data against defined parameters.Supervising and motivating a team of workers.Reviewing worker performance and identifying training needs.Essential SkillsContinuous improvementLean manufacturingSix SigmaManagement skillsProduction ManagementProcess OptimizationInventory managementQuality assurancePay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $125000.00/yr.

At six months of active service, employees receive a $550.00 bonus.
Insurance begins at the start of the month following full-time date of hire (DOH).
HSA & PPO plans are offered.
Personal day earning based on quarterly perfect attendance.
401K with matching 50% (up to 6% max).
