Production Manager (Full Time) St. Hubert, QC
We are looking for a highly motivated, talented, and experienced Production Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our St-Hubert Production plant. In this role you will be responsible for supervising all Production activities and improvement initiatives by directing and assisting in the filling, sorting and shipping of cylinders to our branches and local customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction to the day-to-day operations of a production team to meet the demands of external and internal clients; Coordinate production to meet daily distribution requirements - including local daily needs as well as long distance shipments across the region; Support daily distribution needs;Lead reliability, compliance, quality and safety programs (HWP, LOTO, MOC, Contractor Management etc.) for the assigned industry; ensure government and/or environmental regulations are met.Ensure the team is fully trained, engaged and operating in accordance with all aspects of Linde’s safety and quality systems and requirements, coordinating quality and safety training and meetings with compliance management.Continuously strive for performance and process improvements and leads efforts and ideas for new projects that drive success and results in initiatives: Overtime reduction, backorder reduction, production increases, etc.Manage and escalate equipment and product quality issues to the appropriate level.Responsible for maintaining an adequate inventory of production supplies to prevent any production interruptions.Takes a lead by example approach by training, coaching, and providing day to day direction of team members to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.Monitor and report to senior management on Production and Safety KPIs.Must be bilingual (French/English)Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2023 sales of $33 billion.
