The Production Manager will manage and coordinate resources (People/Materials/Equipment) in a safe and efficient manner to produce finished product. This position will also lead, manage and coordinate people to apply Ecolab standards, ensuring their area operates in a safe, sustainable and efficient manner. This position will play an instrumental role of inspiring associates, driving cultural and developmental change, and furthering progression of the company’s Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) journey.

What You Will Do:Monitor the execution of production plan and implement countermeasures in time
Ensure that quality, safety, environmental standards are respected at all times
Develop and implement the labor, material and spend forecast in line with budget
Drive the daily control system (DCS) to achieve plant results and apply a proper escalation process
Ensure that his/her organization implements and maintains 5S and other AM standards
Liaise with all other departments to ensure manufacturing requirements are prioritized
Apply a proper escalation process on non-conformities and make sure that root causes are identified and resolved
Be visible on the production floor and accessible to the operations team, role modeling company values and vision
Closely monitor manufacturing KPI's to identify and implement actions to drive continuous improvement (e.g. Labor Productivity, Yield, OEE, PP+D plans for all Operational employees (Quality and Achievement of plan), Site OSHA Recordable Injury Rates and Process Safety Incidents, Manufacturing Execution, and Site Engagement Score)
Training and Development - identify skill gaps and succession requirements, ensure plans are in place for closure and monitor performance against plan
Ensure frequent and timely communications on all levels of the production organization on plant targets and achieved results

Must be within commutable distance to City of Industry, CA
Hours: M-F 6am to 4pm, occasional nights and weekends, some on-call

Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree
4 years relevant experience
Previous supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering
4 years manufacturing or military supervisory experience
3 years production experience in a food, chemical, beverage or related batch manufacturing environment
SAP Experience
Previous experience in a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) environment
Previous project management experience, preferred
Proficiency in use of Microsoft office (PowerPoint, Excel and word)
Demonstrated capability of working in a production environment which requires a disciplined, ordered approach with careful attention to standards of work and behaviors
Proven track record of managing a department and leading others

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:
Total compensation range is $132,000 – $154,000. This position has base salary and is eligible for incentive compensation based on performance, per plan terms.Annual or Hourly Compensation Range is based on full-time 40 hours per week. Ecolab in good faith anticipates it will pay within the posted range. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining the compensation for a potential new employee such as education, training, experience, work location, travel (if required), etc.
