What you will be doing

In this pivotal role, you will manage production schedules, lead a dedicated team, and implement process improvements that enhance productivity and safety. As the Production Manager at our milk production facility, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, from planning to execution. You’ll lead a team of production staff, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations.
This position is located in Bellevue, WA and the expected salary is $115,00 - $140,000.
Main responsibilities
Manage and oversee all aspects of the production process, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
Lead and mentor a team of production supervisors and staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Collaborate with other departments, including quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain product quality.
Monitor production metrics and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
Coordinate training and development programs for production staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
Manage production budgets, controlling costs while meeting production targets and deadlines.
Participate in product development initiatives, collaborating with R&D to introduce new products.
Prepare and present reports on production performance to senior management.
What we are searching for:
Bachelor’s degree in food science, engineering, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in a production management role, preferably in a food or dairy production environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Solid understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with production management software.
Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
