**Job Title: Production Masker** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Production Masker to join our team. The primary responsibility will be to tape and mask parts before they undergo plating. This role requires high attention to detail and precision to ensure that the parts are tightly secured and properly masked to prevent any unintended plating. **Responsibilities** + Apply masking materials (tapes, plugs, silicone, etc.) to parts according to specifications. + Inspect parts before and after masking to ensure accurate coverage and quality. + Ensure all masking procedures comply with plating process requirements and quality standards. + Troubleshoot masking issues and report any defects or inconsistencies. + Collaborate with the plating team to maintain smooth workflow and efficiency. + Adhere to quality and safety protocols, ensuring the safe handling of chemicals and materials. + Perform basic quality checks and inspections to ensure all parts are plated to specification. **Essential Skills** + High attention to detail working with small parts. + Prior experience masking and taping materials prior to being plated. + Knowledge of plating processes. + Experience in production, general production, painting, and general labor. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience in the plating or surface finishing industry preferred. + Familiarity with masking materials, including tapes, plugs, and rubber-based products. + Strong attention to detail and precision in applying masking materials. + Strong knowledge foundation on production quality and standards. + Ability to stand and walk for long periods. **Why Work Here?** As a union company, we offer a supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and development. You will be exposed to fumes, dust, gaseous, noisy, and varying weather conditions.
