**Job Title: Production Material Handler** **Job Description** As a Production Material Handler, you will operate grinding machines and handle materials using sit-down propane forklifts. You will work with a team to process raw ores into fine materials used in various products, such as sandpaper. This role involves filling, transporting, and palletizing materials, monitoring machines for issues, and using various hand tools. **Responsibilities** + Operate grinding machines and handle materials using sit-down propane forklifts. + Work with a team of about 10 people to operate the plant's machines. + Fill, transport, and palletize materials into drums or large bags using forklifts or by hand. + Monitor machines for issues or contamination. + Use hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and mallets periodically. **Essential Skills** + Basic computer and math skills. + Experience with basic tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, mallets). + Minimum 1 year of machine operating experience. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk/stand for 10-hour shifts. + Experience with or willingness to learn forklift operation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. **Why Work Here?** We offer BCBS health insurance, Delta Dental insurance, a 401k match of 50% up to a 5% contribution, and profit sharing of 4% into the 401k.
