Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it. The Worldwide Events Team is seeking a dynamic Production Operations Lead to be part of our Shared Services group. This group works with several teams across the company to bring Apple’s iconic brand and products to life for audiences around the world. From new launches and keynotes, to live productions and hands on experiences, this team is charged with managing the planning, end-to-end production, guest journeys and unique details that make these events special. **Description** As part of the Worldwide Events team’s Shared Services group, the Production Operations Lead will play a pivotal role in planning and implementing operations and logistics for key Apple events and productions. It’s a particularly exciting time to join our team as we continue to build flawless brand experiences throughout the Apple ecosystem! This is an opportunity to be a part of an exceptionally hardworking team whose charter is to create, implement, and innovate shared event and filmed experiences. You’ll be supporting the Shared Services team within Worldwide Events as they plan and execute with operational excellence. If you have strong operations and logistics planning in live events or filmed content (theatrical, entertainment, tech based), we’d love to hear from you! - Work closely with our cross-functional partners in Marcom, Real Estate and Development, PR, Global Security, Finance, Procurement, and Product Marketing to bring innovative and curated experiences to life for our media partners and employees. - Pushing operational excellence to the forefront through key initiatives including: - Operational planning and execution, - Serve onsite as the main Events representative for site-specific productions during production load-in, filming, and load-out. - Lead day-to-day operational requests and advance proper approvals/routing within the Apple ecosystem. - Manage operational planning documentation including but not limited to production schedules, site maps, operational keynote presentations, permitting plans, etc. - Lead crew operation initiatives including crew flow planning, site plans, and database management - Manage budget components of production operations spend alongside the planning and budget team - Support the Shared Services team with the vendor procurement process by creating, editing, and managing production operations RFP’s - Manage specific vendor relations as it pertains to operational scopes - Some travel may be required both regionally and internationally **Minimum Qualifications** + Minimum 7+years validated experience with a proven track record in event production and/or operations, or as a line producer in the production field + Experience leading live events and/or film/theatrical productions + Organizational expertise in creating and carrying out high-level operational plans for high profile events **Key Qualifications** **Preferred Qualifications** + This role requires positive relationships with production vendors and cross-functional partners, ultimately craft tactical plans that can be scalable across all event types. + Experience negotiating and building strong relationships with external partners. + Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization. + Self-starting, self-motivated, self-directed, and self-sufficient. + Degree in related field of study or equivalent experience + Competency of AutoCAD a plus + Works well within a team and understands team dynamics. Capable of working individually or as part of a multifunctional team including peers and/or senior managers. + Self-starter that can work on their own initiative with the ability to influence others. + Flexibility to work as required to fulfill business needs **Education & Experience** **Additional Requirements** **Pay & Benefits** + At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
